The Brindavan Gardens, formerly known as the Krishnarajendra Terrace Garden, on the Krishnaraja Sagar Dam site, is one of the most beautifully laid out terrace gardens in the world. It is world famous for its symmetric design. The creative beautification of the whole dam complex has been the achievement of Sir Mirza Ismail, the then Dewan of the princely State of Mysore.

Krishna Raja Sagara Dam

Krishna Raja Sagara Dam, popularly known as KRS Dam, is built across river Kaveri and is a popular weekend getaway spot along with Brindavan Gardens. The 3 kms long Dam located at the confluence of the three rivers- Kaveri, Hemavati and Lakshmanathirtha is named after the then ruler of the Mysore Kingdom, Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV.

Chamundi Hills

Chamundi Hills, the home of Goddess Chamundeshwari, is about 335 metres high and can be reached by a 13 km road from Mysore. The temple of Chamudeshwari, the patron goddess of the Mysore Maharajas, has been highly revered for centuries. The temple witnesses hundreds of footfalls of the devotees every day. Chamundi Hills is around 33 kms from the Resort.

Mysore Palace

The Mysore Palace is the former seat of the Wodeyar Maharajas and is located in the heart of Mysore. The Palace houses two durbar halls and incorporates a mesmerizing and gigantic array of courtyards, gardens, and buildings. 
This Indo-Saracenic marvel vaunts of carved wooden doors, mosaic floors, fine collection of sculptures and artifacts, a series of paintings depicting life in Mysore during the Edwardian Raj and armoury with an intriguing collection of 700-plus weapons. Every weekend, on national holidays, and through the Dasara (Duesshera) celebrations, the palace is illuminated by nearly 100,000 light bulbs that accent its majestic profile against the night.

Rail Museum

This museum is located near the Mysore Railway station and is the second one of its kind established in India after the one at Delhi. This museum exhibits ancient locomotives and carriages, some of which are still in working condition.

Wax Museum - Melody World

This non-government museum is based on music and musical instruments and is one of its kind in the world. The museum exhibits over 100 life-size wax statues and over 300 musical instruments categorized in various bands and stage settings. 
Representing Stone Age to Modern instruments, some of the bands displayed are of Indian Classical North and South, Punjabi Bhangra, South Indian, Jazz, Rock, Middle East etc.  It was established in October 2010. It is open every day from 9.30 am to 7.00pm and is located at #1 Vihara Marga, Sidhartha Layout, Mysore.

St. Philomena's Church

This church was built in honour of St. Philomena in the city of Mysore. It was constructed in 1956 in a Neo Gothic style and its architecture was inspired by the Cologne Cathedral in Germany.
