1. The Nilgiri Toy Train Ride

Pykara Waterfall is situated 20 kilometers from Ooty. Several movies have been shot at this scenic lake. There is a bridge in the premises that allow for great photos.
You can also have a wonderful half an hour boating experience in the Pykara dam and lake. It's a beautiful and clean lake worth visiting on a sunny day.
3. Government Botanical and Rose Gardens
The Ooty Botanical gardens are located at just 30 minutes’ walk from the Lake. There is a great variety of fauna and flora to see. Ooty's Rose Garden is the largest in the country and home to around 1919 varieties of roses.
4. Stone House
Stone House is the first bungalow constructed in Ooty. It was built by John Sullivan and was called Kal Bangala by the tribals.
Avalanche Lake is located at 25 kilometers from Ooty in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu. It is in a beautiful peaceful location, away from city noises, filled with blue waters, green foliage and multicolored flowers.
